The Summary of the Poem's theme: Sadher Jiban (Cherished Life)

Human life is a rare and invaluable treasure. To make this precious life meaningful, one must practice altruism. Through helping others, it is possible to attain the proximity of the supremely merciful God. But humans, becoming self-centered, forget the pursuit of God while chasing elusive happiness. Standing by the helpless and suffering, and alleviating their sorrows with love, should be the sole duty of human life.

Only by dedicating oneself to this righteous deed can one forget all their own sorrows and sufferings, and experience the joyful moments of human life, making existence peaceful and happy. A peaceful life is not possible without the pursuit of God. Therefore, even while living in the world, one must continuously meditate on and chant the name of the supremely merciful God.

কবিতাটির ভাব সংক্ষেপ:

মানব জীবন বড় দুর্লভ অমূল্য ধন। এ অমূল্য সাধের জীবন সার্থক করতে হলে চায় পরোপকার। পরোকারের মাধ্যমে পরম করুনাময় ঈশ্বরের সান্নিধ্য লাভ করা সম্ভব। কিন্তু মানুষ আত্মস্বার্থী হয়ে অধরা সুখের পিছনে ছুটতে গিয়ে ভুলে যায় ঈশ্বরকে পাওয়ার সাধনা। অসহায় আর্তজনের বিপন্নতায় পাশে দাঁড়িয়ে ভালোবেসে তাদের দুঃখ মোচন করাই মানব জীবনের একমাত্র কর্তব্য হওয়া উচিত।

আর এই উচিত কর্মে নিজেকে নিয়োজিত করতে পারলেই নিজের দুঃখ কষ্ট সব ভুলে থাকা সম্ভব এবং মানব জীবনের আনন্দময় মুহূর্ত উপলব্ধ হতে পারে, শান্তিময় ও সুখময় হতে পারে বেঁচে থাকা। ঈশ্বরের সাধনা ব্যতীত শান্তিময় জীবন পাওয়া সম্ভব নয়। তাই সংসারের মধ্যে থেকেই পরম করুণাময় ঈশ্বরের নাম ধ্যান জপ করে যেতে হবে।

ঈশ্বর আছেন সৃষ্টির মাঝে নিয়ে বহু রূপ,
মানবসেবায় জ্বালো এবার ভালোবাসার ধূপ।
অসহায় আর্তজনের দাঁড়াও বিপদ মাঝে,
তারার মতো জ্বলে ওঠো দুঃখ-আঁধার সাঁঝে।

জন্ম-মৃত্যুর মাঝে জীবন ক্ষণিক খেলাঘর, 
ভালোবেসে আপন করো শত্রু মিত্র পর। 
অন্তিমেতে শান্তি পাবে থাকবে না আফসোস,
মানবজীবন সার্থক হবে দেবে না কেউ দোষ।

অন্যায়ে মন ন্যাস্ত করলে ফলবে কর্মফল,
এই জীবনে পাপের ফলে ঝরবে অশ্রু জল।
দুখ-সাগরে ভাসবে জীবন পাবে না আর কূল,
সংশোধনে ভেঙে ফেলো যত মনের ভুল।

সময় থাকতে চেতন হলে কেটে যাবে ঘুম,
সৎ আদর্শ ন্যায়-সততার প্রাণে লাগুক ধুম।
দেখবে জীবন আনন্দময় বেঁচে কত সুখ,
পরোপকারের খুশির ছোঁয়ায় ভরে উঠবে বুক।

এই আনন্দে দুঃখগুলো ঠাঁই পাবে না আর,
উধাও হবে নিমেষে সব কমে যাবে ভার।
ঈশ্বর দত্ত সাধের জীবন পাবে না বার বার,
পেয়েছো তাই কৃতজ্ঞতায় নামটি জপ তাঁর।

In English

Life is a treasure, rare and bright,
Its worth fulfilled through selfless light.
In serving others, hearts may find,
The mercy of God, gentle and kind.

Yet man pursues desires in vain,
Forgetting the sacred, eternal gain.
But when we lift the weak, distressed,
Our souls with peace are truly blessed.

Sorrows fade, joy takes its place,
In God’s remembrance, endless grace.
Amidst the world, His name we keep,
And find a life serene, complete.
